Gmailta is a little program, or should I say – utility, to associate mailto: links with your Gmail account.

Important – I found analogues of this software on the Internet, but only this software will work either with hosted Gmail(actually - hosted apps for your domain) and with original Gmail

After You downloaded and installed program, please proceed to input preferences. ( Entering Your E-mail is important ONLY when you use hosted Gmail, if you use original @gmail.com account, You can enter whatever You like into field )

Also – take into account, that if You, for some reason decide to uninstall software, You will have to select default email application, otherwise mailto: links will not work.
